Welcome to the River Shore Estates neighborhood. We are a vibrant community of over 250 homes located in the city of Sandy Springs, incorporated in 2005 and the sixth largest city in the state of Georgia. The neighborhood was developed by Chatham Properties in seven phases between 1963 and 1978.

 

Located just minutes from Sandy Springs City Center, we are easy to find. Take exit 24 off I-285 and head North on Riverside Drive. Go ½ a mile, the entrance is on your right.

Our neighborhood's architecture is mostly traditional and consists primarily of elegant ranches and colonial-style homes. Residents are a delightful mix of personalities and the sense of neighborhood pride is evident when you walk our tranquil streets.

Our residents are eligible for membership in the Riverside Swim & Tennis Club and Mountaire Park. Nestled in the heart of the neighborhood is River Shore Meadows with creek-side trails amid a forest of native trees.

River Shore Estates is served by award-winning public schools including Heards Ferry Elementary, Ridgeview Charter Middle School and Riverwood International Charter School. Our neighborhood is also in close proximity to some of the best private schools in the nation including The Epstein School, Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School and Mount Vernon School.

The River Shore Estates Homeowners Association strives to maintain and improve our quality of life in the following ways:

• We uphold the integrity of our community by advocating on zoning and public policy matters.

• We work with local governments to improve public safety.

• We facilitate cooperative neighborhood communication and encourage special interest groups.

• We partner with the City of Sandy Springs to spend tax dollars on neighborhood improvements.

Membership in the River Shore Estates HOA is voluntary with $85 annual dues. Dues fund neighborhood events, the landscaping and maintenance of our neighborhood entrances as well as newsletters, directories and the involvement in various civic organizations. The River Shore Estates HOA is a Georgia not-for-profit corporation.
